Gateway Glass & Glazing was started in 1960 by Tim Miners, Frank Raebusch and Vince Melching. In 1993 Vince Melching retired and Dan and Joe Melching took over.

Gateway Glass works with their clients to provide cost effective and energy efficient solutions for their project's needs. We work closely with the Project Managers and site Superintendents to ensure all project criteria is met as safely and expeditiously as possible.

Joseph Melching is the President and Chief Estimator. Joe brings over 30 years of experience to the project which allows him to present cost-effective solutions.  Joe understands that everyone is struggling during these trying economic times and tries to bring the best value for money to any proposal. 

Daniel Melching is the Vice President and Project Superintendent.  Dan has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Dan manages all aspects of the project in the field including the crews. Dan works closely with the Project Manager and site Superintendent to ensure that schedules are met or exceeded.

Julie Penn is the Project Coordinator and Accounting Manager. Julie has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. She works closely with Joe and Dan so that all project requirements and needs are met.

The Crew is a talented group that truly enjoys what they do. Most of our crew have been with Gateway Glass for more than 20 years. Our crew will always maintain a professional demeanor and they strictly follow all safety procedures.  They are the hardest working members of our Gateway team and the lifeblood of our company.
